Monitoring: Fence output voltage
Fence output voltage display in kilovolts. This
enables identification of even the smallest
changes in the fence's condition.
Monitoring: Earth voltage
Earth voltage display in kilovolts. The lower the
displayed value, the better the device's earth
connection.
Monitoring: Power consumption
Indicates power consumption in %
(25, 50, 75 and 100%).
The smaller the reading, the less
power the device is consuming!
The new AKO NDi series complies with the safety
standard for electric fences that came into effect on
01/09/2010. According to this standard, the output
energy is limited to a maximum of 15 joules. Devices
ranging from 5 to 15 joules must be equipped with a po-
wer adjustment delay for altered loads and must feature
an alarm function. The time delay ensures that there is
sufficient time in which to retreat safely from the fence.
However, if there is contact
with the fence for a long
period of time, the pulse
sequence is slowed signifi-
cantly and an audio-visual
alarm is triggered.
